Job description

Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical. Duties and Responsibilities: - CNC troubleshooting drives, motors - Machine repair - Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions - Operate the personnel lifts - Operate forklifts - Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards - Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas - Build or fabricate devices to improve quality and production - Use hand and power tools - Move equipment - Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system - Lookup MRO parts using CMMS system, if not available provide all relevant information to clerk, engineer or manager for prompt order of repair parts and rebuild machines as required - All non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required - Evaluate / repair / replace electrical motors and component - Wire machines - Install new equipment to meet all production needs - Bas...
