A Brief Overview: Performs ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis. What you will do: - Performs diagnostic sonographic imaging procedures - Performs quality control and quality assessment - Assists physicians with interventional procedures - Ensures the day to day operations run smoothly and issues are reported promptly - Participates in staff in-service program - Keeps area supplied and clean - Assists with orientation of new staff and students - Assists clerical area when needed - Perform HIS/RIS/PACS functions - Maintains equipment to decrease downtime and overtime expense - Participates in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives - Other job duties as assigned Education Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Medical Diagnostic Sonography Program Required or - Evidence of Medical Diagnostic Sonography training from the United States Military Re...
