Job description

Vesalius Therapeutics is seeking a computational biologist with 5+ years of experience in high-dimensional data analysis to join our team. You will report to the Head of Data Science and develop and apply state-of-the-art statistical methods to deliver actionable insights from our population scale iPSC-based high-throughput phenotyping platform. You will bring a solid foundation in applied statistics; high-performance, scalable, and reproducible scientific code; and molecular, cell, or tissue biology. You will serve also as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis and software development, mentoring junior data scientists and advising stem cell scientists and biologists. You will work both independently and in matrixed teams with stem cell scientists, biologists, statistical geneticists, and machine learning scientists.
