Job description
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub‑assemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment to support quality, safety, and production goals. Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Production - Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment. - Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work orders. - Perform mechanical builds for parts such as brackets, frames, housings, and assemblies. - Verify part specifications and measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision tools. - Conduct functional tests on assemblies to ensure proper operation and performance. Quality & Documentation: - Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, deviations, or incorrect specifications. - Record production data, inspection results, and any non‑conformances. - Follow standardized work instructions and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Communicate issues promptly to superv...
