Nyirrunggulung Rise , located in the Northern Territory of Australia, is a joint venture creating job opportunities, providing training, and supporting social infrastructure. Nyirrunggulung Rise was awarded the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) program and will deliver services within our current location. A day in the life of a Service Coordinator can include: - Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of participant skills, education, vocational interests, job readiness, and personal circumstances - Co-design individualised job plans and regularly review and update to reflect changes in participant circumstances, community priorities, and labour market opportunities - Provide culturally appropriate and holistic support to participants - Assist participants to access allied health, housing, financial, disability, and other wraparound services - Support participants to engage in training, employment placements, and community projects - Build strong relationships with local employers - Work with employers to support culturally safe workplaces that encourage retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees - Collaborate with Community Advisory Board...
