The position will provide for the care and prevention of athletic injuries, rehabilitation of injuries, management and care of injuries. Assist in the organization & administration of health care services, provide for the education & counseling of athletes and students to all sports assigned. This role will support The University of Miami Football team, subject to change based on department needs. This under the written protocol and supervised by the Team Physician as directed by the State of Florida Athletic Trainers Act. Additionally, assist in the Education of Students within the Athletic Training Master’s major. JOB FUNCTIONS: Arrange a pre-season visit with the head coach of your assigned sport and the Head Athletic Trainer to discuss procedures, schedules and expectations.
