Description Responsible for following the office protocol and guidelines, the technological performance, reporting and billing of all pelvic ultrasounds, obstetrical ultrasounds as well as sonohysterogram, amniocentesis and chorionic villi sampling procedures. Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to demonstrate that they can perform the essential job function with or without reasonable accommodations, using some other combination of skills and abilities. - Review ultrasound schedule, gather needed patient medical information and referring information for scheduled ultrasound. - Order ultrasound in Athena to open communication between ultrasound equipment and Athena. - Bring patient to the ultrasound room and explain the ultrasound and/or ultrasound procedure to be performed to patient. - Prepare the patient and room for the ultrasound and/or ultrasound procedure. - Perform the ultrasound and/or ultrasound procedure ensuring all needed images, measurements, and doppler samples are captured. - Create a report in Viewpoint for each ultrasound and/or ultrasound procedure performed ensuring all images and information transferred over from t...
