Job description

Overview Trains and supervises Huntsville Hospital security personnel. Responsible for training the entire hospital system on safety & security related topics. Manages the operations of the Security Department, to include scheduling, counseling, and disciplining of personnel while ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. Qualifications: Education required: High School diploma or GED Education preferred: Prefer Bachelor degree in law, law enforcement or clinical field. License, Certification and or Registration: Must possess a driver’s license and be insurable by HH standards. Must have the following within 90 days of employment: Heart Saver CPR certification ; Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB); HR Management Series completed (12-months) Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory in a comparable clinical, security or parking operation. Experience in health care setting preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
