MMC Operator (2nd Shift)

Job description

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented MMC Operator to operate and maintain a cap lining machine in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read and understand workorders, ability to identify of tooling and proficiency in machine setups upon completion of training. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, experience with mechanical equipment and hand tools such as Allen wrenches and be able to understand and follow technical documents while ensuring the quality of finished goods. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Adhere to all safety rules, report all safety issues, and maintain good safe work habits - Identify quality issues and ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished goods - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to housekeeping standards - Understand work orders, including order quantity and raw materials and finished goods - Setup machine for new orders, including mechanical tooling, punch and die selection and alignment, automated mechatronics, setup of optical sensors, vision system, etc. - Utilize HMI (human-machine interface) programs to control and monitor machine function and parameters - Verify raw mate...
