Job Summary: Responsibilities associated with this position involve the analysis of all accounts and reports related to gross profit, sales, purchases and inventories. Qualifications: · Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties - Calculate and audit gross profit percentages by analyzing all accounts and reports related to gross profit, sales, purchases and inventory. - Prepare and post monthly journal entries. - Maintain asset and liability work papers and balance accounts. - Audit monthly financial statements and analyze expenses. - Correspond and resolve with other departments regarding gross profit and financial statement issues. - Prepare monthly summary reports listing items affecting gross profit and expense amounts and reports as needed. - Prepare and file business license renewals. - Prepare and file various tax returns. - Prepare audit work papers. - Profile financial statements. - Analyze and balance various accounts. - Prepare note schedules and interest calculations. - Schedule grocery/pharmacy inventories. - Responsible for permanent recording and storage of financial sta...
