Position Title: Lecturer Position in Geospatial Analysis 2026-27 Position Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Salary Range: Salary will be between $66,420 and $96,480, based on the number of courses to be taught, the area of qualifications/expertise of the final candidate, and years of teaching experience; benefits eligible. Purpose: The Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences (ESS) at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, invites applications for a Lecturer in Geospatial Analysis and Statistics. Anticipated courses will include Introduction to Coding for Geospatial Analysis (ENVS 15) (in Python), Introduction to GIS (ENVS 116), and Intermediate GIS (ENVS 117). There may also be an opportunity to teach a statistics course as a lecture-and-lab course, or to teach a Remote Sensing course. Teaching materials for all courses exist and will be shared. Specific teaching assignments will be made based on the individual's academic qualifications and programmatic needs.
