Job description

Performs various duties regarding Accounting including reconciliation, journal entries, and maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities within ICCU. Qualifications: Currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles. Proficient in word processing and clerical skills. Excellent math skills and computer knowledge. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records. - Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records. - Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reconciliations of general ledger and internal accounts. - Process loan file maintenance for workout loans to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Other projects and duties as assigned. Performance Standard: A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Accurate in balancing and account research. Be able to diagnose simple problems.
