*Training is full time in the office for the first 6 months* - Lockleys, SA - Parramatta, NSW - Collins St, VIC What’s the role?: As the Credit Manager, you will be a key member of the Mortgage Operations business, and your role will be paramount to the delivery of Westpac’s vision. You will display a strong customer and operational focus, as well as ensuring a high level of productivity, service delivery and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and timely credit assessments for Westpac Group’s mortgage products. Collaborate closely with teams across the business to support strategic goals, responsible lending practices, and a safe, healthy work environment. A core part of your role involves managing inbound calls from Brokers, Bankers, and Assessors regarding home loan applications for Westpac Group brands, including Westpac, St.George, Bank of Melbourne, and BankSA. Additionally, you will proactively identify and manage risks, monitor recurring issues, and contribute to service enhancements that elevate both customer experience and operational efficiency.
