Job Title: Shift Mechanical Fitter Department: EWSR Engineering: Location: Corby (NN17): Salary: £38,710 - £39,560 (£33,661 basic plus 15% shift allowance, rising to £34,400 basic plus 15% shift allowance on successful completion of probation period) Closing Date: Monday 4th May 2026 We believe that our strength is not just in our steel but the diversity of our workforce. Working as part of a multi-skilled shift team, we are looking for someone to carryout PPM activities alongside reactive maintenance activities in a busy manufacturing environment. What you will do: The post holder will be expected to maintain maximum efficiency of machinery whilst maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the site maintenance procedures. Other responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to: - Experience working in a heavy industrial environment would be advantageous. - The role will involve working as part of a team and sometimes under one’s own initiative.
