Operator - Night Shift

Job Summary This position is a unionized role as part of our production team. As an Operator you will be required to learn, understand and put into practice all our policies and procedures to help manufacture the highest quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will routinely perform your duties with minimal supervision, independently and in a team with another operator. You must be able to work in an environment with many distractions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties. No travel is required for this position. Shift Time: 11pm - 7am. Rate: $20:32/ hr: Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures while ensuring your work area is clean & safe. - Control one or more processing units or inter-related semi-automatic or automatic systems and setting up/adjusting packaging equipment. - Monitor gauges, signals, scales, and observes products consistency for colour and viscosity. - Performs chemical or other physical testing during product processing - Basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of process equipment - Utilize the scanning guns to complete timely and...
