Classification Title: OPS Lab Tech/Lab Manager Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. Job Description: The Nemudryi lab studies the molecular arms race between bacteria and the viruses that infect them (bacteriophages). We investigate novel anti-phage immune systems using bacterial genetics, biochemistry, structural bioinformatics, and phage biology, with the goal of uncovering new biology at the host-phage interface and translating it into tools for science and medicine. This is a hybrid role. Roughly 70% of time is spent at the bench, contributing to ongoing team projects alongside the PI and senior lab members, with opportunities to take ownership of your own work. The rest goes to keeping the lab running: ordering reagents and supplies, maintaining shared equipment and stocks, and supporting day-to-day operations.
