Work Shift: Various (United States of America) Job Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for appropriate, evidence based, medication use for the institution. They ensure patients get the right medication at the right dose. Pharmacists must have a medication safety viewpoint and be in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations (TJC, BOP, CMS, etc). Pharmacists oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians. Pharmacists must engage in teaching as part of the hospital's mission.
