Engineering Technician

Job description

Description This position technically supports development of significant alterations to existing systems, supports integration and interface of existing equipment or software into different applications or platforms, and support evaluation of foreign or non-developmental systems, equipment, and technologies. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: - Testing and operationally checking and verifying individual and system components - Developing and reviewing system and component test documents - Attending design reviews and providing technical feedback for engineering design documents - Attending daily, weekly, and monthly status meetings - Providing input to weekly and monthly program status reports - Providing on-site and deployed support for system installations and testing when required - Providing system integration effort (rack builds) - Providing other tasks required to support the engineering effort #LI-SF1 Requirements: Six years experience with Associate's degree/formal training or 10 years with HS/GED of practical experience to include: Design, preparation and modification of engineering documents and drawings Associate’s degree in engineering technology, math, or sc...
