Vice President, Enterprise Strategy, Global Banking and Markets Purpose: The Scotiabank Strategy group is a central team focused on shaping the Bank’s strategic agenda, considering both enterprise and business / function specific strategic questions and opportunities. The VP, Enterprise Strategy, GBM will be a key member of this team, leading a high performing team and serving as a strategic advisor to both enterprise leaders and the Global Banking and Markets leadership team. This role is also key to facilitating the strategic planning process, cultivating partnerships across the bank to refresh our strategy and strategic metrics on an annual basis or as needed more frequently. The incumbent must have a credible strategy development skillset, strong business acumen, knowledge of the Global Banking and Markets business and environment, and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders in the Bank’s executive team and with external stakeholders.
