WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Analysis and development: - Translate needs into thoughtful and creative IT solutions that can drive sustainable business benefits. - Support Product owner developing project plans, obtaining business approvals, implementation of changes, and overall project management to ensure goals are accomplished within prescribed time frame and cost. - Hold regular meetings with users to determine cadence, progress and address any questions or challenges regarding assigned projects and initiatives. - Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork. - Monitor development of solutions and perform acceptance tests. - Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects as appropriate. - Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the needs of the internal nVent functional areas, overall business and technology needs, and industry trends and directions.
