Department: Orthopedic Care Unit: Shift/schedule: Full Time (36 hrs/wk), Varied Shift GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The LPN's primary job function is to assist the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individual patient care on a nursing unit according to unit policies and procedures. Assists the RN with implementation of plan of care. Supports each strategic value by providing excellent care to those we serve. Performs other duties as assigned. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required - Licensed to practice as an LPN in Ohio required - IV required - BLS within 90 days of hire required - None.
