Up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus Work Shift: (40 hrs.) days, evenings, nights, On-Call and weekends may be required Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Vascular Lab UTower CORE JOB SUMMARY: The Ultrasound Technologist performs highly skilled and technical operations with an ultrasound machine for diagnostic purposes. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Performs routine and specialty sonographic procedures in cases involving all levels of difficulty. 2. Operates complex and highly technical equipment including 2-D, 3-D, color, power and spectral doppler modalities for various types of ultrasound examinations. 3. Ensures the diagnostic quality of all scans through extensive knowledge of ultrasound techniques, disease processes, and technical pitfalls. 4.
