Job description

The Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor will supervise and lead a team of Billing Specialists and ensure that the goals and metrics set by the department are followed while still providing high quality work and customer service. The Medical Billing Supervisor will also serve as an expert on billing procedures and policies. Previous experience leading a small team is required. This is a hybrid role; candidates must live in Iowa. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to - Supervises day to day activities of Revenue Cycle Team members at Ankeny office - Leads, develops and trains new employees for onboarding and acts as a resource for Revenue Cycle Team - Provides leadership structure to leads and will be their direct report - Completes weekly timecards for Revenue Cycle Team - Performs interviews for new Revenue Cycle Team members - Works effectively interdepartmentally as liaison between Revenue Cycle team and other departments - Monitors and updates SOP’s for the department on as needed basis - Conducts monthly 1:1’s with leads and team members - Posts accounts receivable payments per agency remittance advices - Resolves valid or authorized adjustments with balanci...
