Your next opportunity: Boral is actively seeking a strategic & people focused Quarry Manager to oversee our Booyal Quarry (50 mins from Bundaberg) Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead all functionalities of the Quarry, specifically focusing on P&L (experience), Cost Control, Processing Knowledge, Production Planning, Drill and Blast and the Customer experience. You will play a key role in partnering with our internal stakeholders and the wider community to drive meaningful relationships. Your well-developed commercial acumen will see to your success in identifying areas of cost efficiencies, growth and process improvements. Your day will involve: - Promoting and enforcing safety and environmental processes and protocols to meet performance outcomes - Effective management of daily operations, delivering on agreed priorities of cost control and production in line with quality, budgeting and forecasts - Working with the Sales team to deliver the sites revenue expectations - People leadership - hands on management of staff and contractors - Ensuring the site is in line with current licencing, consents and regulatory requirements - Contributing to the strategic planning an...
