Job Title: Registered Nurse Department: Nursing and Acute Services: Reports To: Nursing Manager: Location: Hospital: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Job Summary: The professional RN administers nursing care guided by the Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Applies the nursing process to assess pertinent data utilizing patient, family/designated caregivers and interdisciplinary input. In collaboration with the patient, family, designated caregivers and interdisciplinary team the nurse develops and implements a plan of care with identified outcomes for the patient. In collaboration with the patient, family/designated caregivers and the interdisciplinary team patient progress is evaluated relative to the plan of care. The plan is modified and adjusted to meet identified outcomes and patient preferences. Completed timely and comprehensive patient documentation, in accordance with service area standards. Applies Evidence Based Practice and Quality of Care Standards to nursing practice.
