Completions Technical Design Lead - Appleton in GAC Appleton Unique Skills: This is a Tech Design Lead position in the Completions engineering group, which is responsible for VIP completions of new Gulfstream business jets. The Completions group creates new and derivative designs of interior furnishings and amenities as part of outfitting new business jet aircraft. Example designs include custom cabinetry such as galleys, lavatories, closets and other storage compartments, interior peripheries, water/waste systems, entertainment equipment installations, and seating installations. Additional responsibilities include managing interior weight, design for manufacturing, and controlling part and manufacturing costs. Candidate will be responsible for reviewing models and drawings to ensure company standards are met. Individual must have sufficient experience and skills necessary to train and mentor others in design and drafting and to review the work of others for accuracy and quality. Significant experience with AutoCad and Catia V5 is required. Experience with Smarteam or Enovia is preferred. Excellent time-management and communication skills (oral and written) are a must.
