art-K is the UK’s largest private art education service, delivering fun, skill-based classes to over 8,000 children each week. Our programme helps develop artistic skills, build confidence, and support mental well-being through inspiring projects taught by passionate educators. At our Highams Park branch , the Part-Time Art Teacher is responsible for delivering the classes and supporting running the studio, with time split across teaching and class preparation (75%), and administration and promotion (25%). Full training is provided in our teaching methods, with ongoing support from our central team and a national network of art teachers. Working Hours & Schedule: This is a part-time role with a fixed schedule during term time and adjusted hours during school holidays: Term Time: 27.25 hours per week on the following schedule: Sun: 08:00 - 13:15 Mon: 13:15 - 21:15: Weds: 12:15 - 20:15: Thurs: 13:00 - 19:00: School Holidays (14 weeks/year): The same number of hours will be worked between Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm , with the exact daily schedule varying based on the needs of the studio.
