Job Summary: The Commercial Electrical Apprentice will assist the Electrician with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor. Duties/Responsibilities: Assists with the installation of various electrical system, both indoor and outdoor. Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner. Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems. Follow all safety procedures. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade. Some knowledge of powerline installation and repair of electrical systems. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent mechanical skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous commercial electrical experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test. Physical Requirements: Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights. Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
