Job DetailsJob Location: Ganado, AZ 86505Position Type: Full TimePosition Summary: Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director and Laboratory Manager, accomplishes the Laboratory’s strategic objectives by planning, organizing, and supervising the assigned functions required to operate and maintain departmental activities and services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Assists with management and oversight of the Clinical Laboratory Department functions and personnel in the absence of the Laboratory Manager. - Provides day-to-day supervision of personnel performing high complexity and other testing. o Responsible for: Ensuring implementation of policies and procedures are followed in Microbiology and Blood Bank (high complexity testing) Training new personnel, re-training when necessary, and teaching students Review of all results in Blood Bank and Microbiology to verify accuracy of technicians Keep documentation and records according to CLIA, COLA, FDA, & AABB Competently review all...
