Job Details / Position Summary Overview: An Aircraft Mechanic II – Perform repairs, modifications, and installations on C-12 aircraft avionics, wiring, components, flight controls, and P&W PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60 PT6A-65 turbo prop engines. Operates ground support equipment and flight line vehicles. Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment. The Aircraft Mechanic II reports directly to the ACI Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager. Description: The primary functions of an "Aircraft Mechanic II" and which can be performed without direct supervision include: - Performs tasks as assigned /directed by Maintenance Supervisors and/or Maintenance Manager in accordance with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives. - Evaluates aircraft discrepancies to identify proper methods for repair. Identifies necessary parts, materials, and tooling requirements to complete tasks. - Utilize manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, Maintenance Engineering Directives, schematics, drawings, blueprints, charts, and other applicable publications to install, test, tr...
