Food Runner

Job description

We are looking for talented people to join the team! The expediter/food runner is responsible for executing a high level of consistent plates according to standards, maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, and must be able to exhibit impeccable food presentation and exceed guest expectations. Qualifications: - Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen is of the highest quality, properly plated, and made to accommodate any special requests before delivering to tables - Set up stations and collect all necessary items to prepare menu for service - Prepare a variety of foods including garnish, vegetable and cold food items - Cover, date and correctly store all food items as per safe food-handling procedures - Inform chef in advance of likely shortages - Ensure the correct temperature of food - Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufactures instructions - Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations - Maintain an organized and sanitized work area at all times - Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately - Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices - Assist staff with other duties as assi...
