KBR is seeking a Lifting Device and Equipment Engineer to provide day-to-day technical responsibility of the lifting device and equipment safety efforts for NASA GSFC. Responsibilities: - Maintains overall knowledge of NASA Safety Policy (which includes the Lifting Standard) and ensures customer satisfaction by responding to customer requirements encompassing this safety engineering discipline. - Coordinate with Facility Operations Managers, lab managers, project points of contact, and equipment owners to schedule and conduct tasks, minimizing facility conflicts. - Properly identifying customer problems and issues, researching program requirements, and determining the most effective solution given technical qualifications and contractual requirements. - Prepare and deliver detailed deficiency reports within 24 hours of discovery to LDE owners to facilitate timely resolution. - Work with NASA safety and LDE Manager to ensure all documentation is reviewed and...
