POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager, General Ledger will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close accounting processes, which includes preparation and review of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations for both consolidated and non-consolidated legal entities. In addition, the Accounting Manager, General Ledger will review and approve calculations of intercompany agreements, royalties, bonuses and commissions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Evaluate new or existing accounting guidance as needed o Assist with documenting the Company’s accounting policies and procedures o Ensure compliance over financial internal controls o Research and resolve account discrepancies on a timely basis o Provide appropriate supporting documentation for account balances o Analyze financial statements and explain variances in the financial results as compared to prior periods o Supervise monthly consolidation eliminations and ensure accuracy o Lead monthly P&L fluctuation analysis with leadership team - Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and adminis...
