Department of Forestry, Fire, & Rangeland Management Temporary Faculty Pool The Department: Forests and rangelands each cover one-third of the land area in the United States. Courses in the Forestry, Fire, and Rangeland Management department teach our students to connect with and manage these lands, working toward a more sustainable future. We provide three Bachelor of Science degrees: Forestry, Applied Fire Science and Management, and Rangeland Resource Science. Our graduate program is the Master of Science in Natural Resources with an option in Forestry, Watershed & Wildland Sciences. At Cal Poly Humboldt, we provide hands-on learning in some of the world’s most spectacular and important forests and rangelands, personal attention from faculty, and a clear path to a career outdoors. Our faculty work closely with our students to prepare them for careers with government, Tribal, and private employers.
