Description Located in Portland, Oregon, Lewis & Clark College is a small liberal arts college with 2,100 undergraduates. We invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Environmental Studies Program, beginning Fall, 2024. The Environmental Studies Program at Lewis & Clark prides itself on a nationally recognized approach blending critical foundations, curricular innovation, and intellectual inclusivity, drawing upon contributions from over a dozen campus departments spanning the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. We seek candidates whose background and scholarship resonate with this broad, cutting-edge approach to environmental studies and who are adept at situating issues of environment in multiple scales of space and time. Candidates must be able to deploy quantitative methodologies, such as spatial analysis, or hybrid quantitative and qualitative methodologies as a model to students of our data-intensive approach.
