Job Overview Will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. These products can be mechanical, electrical or a combination of both. This individual will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification. A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Read and understand blue prints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications. - Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality. - Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean. - Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding. - Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. - Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
