DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our patient population consists of outpatient/observation patients admitted from the Emergency Department, for a short stay for 24 hours or less. We care for a variety of diagnoses including, chest pain, asthma, syncope, anemia, back pain, dvt, heart failure and many others.
