Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: SCA Skills: Exterior Design, Painting, Plastering Certifications: None Experience: 1 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: No Job Description: Painter, Junior - Paints, stains, enamels, varnishes, lacquers and redecorates interior and exterior surfaces. - Mixes paint and matches colors to achieve desired color. - Uses cloth, brushes, sprayer, roller, and/or sponges to apply paint or other coatings. - Removes old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or a blowtorch. - May fill nail holes, joints and cracks in walls with plaster or other filler. - May replace door or window glass. - Requisitions new painting supplies and equipment. - Participates in special projects, as required. Education: Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. Experience: 1-3 years of related painting experience.
