The Assistant Director works under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources. This role will be responsible for assisting with and supervising all aspects of Human Resources, including labor relations, recruitment, benefits, training, employee relations, Safety & Worker’s Compensation, and liability prevention and legal compliance. Responsibilities: Supervise and train Human Resources staff. Provide counsel to the Director of Human Resources in all areas of policy, culture, and leadership. Implement training and development programs. Recommend new programs based on need. Conduct investigations and assist the Director and management in making employment status decisions. Assist the Director in creating responses to employee complaints, grievances and discipline, and litigation from Federal and State offices.
