Job description

Summary The Mounting Operator plays a critical role in the ophthalmic lens manufacturing process by ensuring that prescription lenses are accurately and securely mounted into eyeglass frames. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of optical standards to deliver high-quality eyewear products that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. Primary Responsibilities: Accurately mount prescription lenses into designated frame sides (right/left), ensuring proper sizing, fit, and orientation. Utilize specialized beveling techniques tailored to individual prescriptions to achieve optimal lens placement. Perform manual adjustments using hand tools to align frames according to optical standards. Ensure four-point contact, square temple alignment, minimal front wrap, and symmetrical pad arms. Correct any bridge twist and verify even temple closure for a balanced fit. Confirm the correct axis positioning for multifocal lenses, including bifocals and progressives.
