Truck Driver -- CDL Class A No Overnight Travel Required: Metals USA is seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Greensboro NC. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon-steel (plate, beam, tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries. Responsibilities : Certifications/Licenses: - Drives a 40 foot flatbed truck to transport and deliver materials - Maneuvers trucks into loading and unloading positions. - Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner and complies with all local, state and federal traffic regulations. - Secures loaded cargo into truck; safely load & unload materials using a winch, hoist and/or forklift. - Immobilizes or secures cargo on or within a vehicle by the use of tie-downs, chains, benders or straps. - Tarps and straps all loads before transport and untarps and unstraps all loads at delivery locations. - Inspects and maintains vehicle daily, complete driver's logs and reports in compliance with FMCSR daily. - Picks up and accurately delivers merchandise and corresponding paperwork in a timely manner. - Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate m...
