Job description

The Claims Specialist position will manage the intake, review, processing, and oversight of multi-line insurance claims. This position provides consulting and advocacy on behalf of our clients throughout the process of a claim and the duration of the loss event. This position will play a vital role in our agency supporting fair and timely claims resolution for our clients. Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the insurance carrier during the claims process. - Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with all stakeholders (clients, carriers, internal teams, legal counsel). - Document all claim activity, communications, and outcomes accurately in the agency's management system. - Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and internal best practice standards. - Protect operations by keeping claims information confidential. - Receive initial claim information from clients and ensure timely and accurate reporting to the appropriate insurance carrier. - Input new claim data into the claims system, verify information, and maintain high data integrity. - Manage correspondence, create claim files, process documentation, and assist the rest of the te...
