Job Description Director Global Investment Banking, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY Develop detailed financial models (including restructuring, financing, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) models). Participate in pitches and calls with clients. Complete asset level due diligence on buyer/seller portfolio. Review legal documentation. Participate and/or conduct due diligence sessions with companies. Work with analysts, associates, vice presidents, and senior banker deal team members to develop financial models and pitch book materials, conduct company research, and analyze data to help advise current or prospective corporate clients on actual or prospective M&A transactions and corporate finance offerings. Present market updates and new ideas to clients, including, but not limited to, capital markets, M&A, and capital raising. Maintain internal logs of precedent transactions, actively follow M&A deals in the space, calculate premiums paid, and calculate valuations. Train new analysts and interns to provide guidance on industrial concepts and financial modeling.
