Title Assistant Front End Manager Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Front End: Minor Department: Management: Reports to: Front End Manager, Store Manager: Job Summary: Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests at the Point of Sale (POS). They ensure each customer leaves Pete’s Fresh Market with an outstanding experience, while delivering fast, friendly, and accurate transactions. They must maintain proper control of cash, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard company assets. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Front End Department and the company. As a team member of Pete’s Fresh Market it is important that Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Provides fast, friendly, courteous and excellent customer services, handles customer relations, performs checking duties and supervisor functions on cash registers when necessary, and engages in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
