Benefits: HUALAPAI PREFERENCE Position: Cook - Diamond Creek Department: Diamond Creek Restaurant Classification: Non-Exempt Salary Range: NE1 Supervisor: BOH Kitchen Supervisor – Lodge Disclaimer: Position Description is not meant to encompass all aspects of position, other duties may be assigned. Position Summary: Cooks are responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Lodge, cooking to order for casual dining. Responsible for cooking food in a safe and healthy manner, using proper food handling and sanitation procedures and quantity and quality control in food production. Performs routine daily cleaning, maintains and operates equipment properly and follows FIFO rotation of products. Knowledge and Abilities: - Free uniforms - Paid time off - Experience in preparing food while observing sound health and sanitation practices. - Ability to communicate well and interact with guests and staff in a clear concise manner. - Ability to provide outstanding customer service by providing prompt, courteous and accurate service. - Ability to load and unload delivery trucks and handle inventory of items required. - Ability to do prep work, sauté, broil, pan and deep fry during f...
