We are searching for an OB Float Pool Nurse! – someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or other nursing degree with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement Experience: - Current Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact license - BLS certification required (American Heart Association) - Minimum of 9 months of professional nursing experience Skills & Abilities: As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards. - Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills - Strong time and resource management abilities - Demonstrates flexibility, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Knowledge of unit-specific equipment and the nursing...
