What this Job Entails: Seeking a resourceful entry-level Integration / Automation Developer to join a team that builds and supports integrations between systems and third‑party systems. The role focuses on prototyping, building, and automating integration tooling and processes (APIs, deployments, post‑production support). The contractor will work closely with the hiring manager for onboarding and guidance, coordinate with offshore consultants in India, and collaborate with vendor teams responsible for cloud/DevOps guardrails. Your Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, prototype, and deploy integrations and automation tools between internal PG&E systems and third parties (APIs, connectors, scripts). Work in an Agile environment: refine backlog items, implement stories, and deliver incremental updates. Coordinate daily with offshore developers/consultants to review code, exchange requirements, and synchronize work across time zones (morning overlap with India-based team). Use GitHub (with Copilot) and VS Code for development; follow established guardrails and security controls for code that will be deployed to AWS environments.
