Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Carpenter/Concrete Finisher I to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Carpenter/Concrete Finisher I performs skilled carpentry work involved in construction, maintenance, and repair; performs related and other work as required to maintain facilities in a safe and efficient condition. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects, including the following: Layout, interior framing, cold form metal framing, gypsum board installation, rebar installation, door, frame, & hardware installation, acoustical ceiling installation, millwork installation, and other assigned duties. - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and other structures. - Knowledge of survey principles. - Knowledge of layout of foundations forms and building framing. - Safe use of power tools such as saws, drills, planes, sanders, routers and grinders. - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
