Job Description The Associate Loan Specialist is responsible for the creation and review of various commercial loan contracts, notes, term sheets, covenants, schedules, etc. both with internal and legal counsel loan documentation for United Bankshares, Inc. this position interprets information provided by Commercial Lending Staff to ensure that appropriate documents are prepared both internal and external, and may identify discrepancies that necessitate communication with the lending staff to clarify the terms of the loan. Associate Loan Specialists are also expected to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and the completion of the commercial loans on United’s Integrated Banking System, as well as loans prepared by legal counsel.
