Description NAFSA Association of International Educators is the world’s largest association of professionals committed exclusively to advancing international education and exchange. The association provides professional development opportunities, promotes research and knowledge, and convenes conference and collaborative dialogues. The Public Policy team, which includes grassroots advocacy and media relations, leads NAFSA’s efforts to advocate for policies that foster the exchange of ideas, create a commonsense immigration process, and encourage global engagement. This internship is ideal for students who are seeking careers in public policy, government relations, advocacy, media relations, or international education, and is an excellent opportunity to experience working in a nonprofit association. Summer 2026 Intern Projects (June through August): The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter; proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications, especially Excel and Word; experienced with customer service; adept with Zoom and social media platforms; and have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
